Schedule:

  • Breakfast with the families
  • 9:00 am – gathering of the groups in the parishes (taking the dry provisions and leaving for Ostrów Tumski in Wrocław);
  • 9:30 am – 1.00 pm – passing through the “Mercy Gate” in Wrocław Cathedral, spiritual events at Ostrów Tumski;
  • 12:00 pm – meeting with the Archbishop of Wrocław and praying Angelus (Ostrów Tumski);
  • 1:30 pm – Holy Mass with the language groups in the appointed churches;
  • 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm – a meal – served at Wrocław Stadium zone;
  • 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm – „Singing Europe” festival under the European Capital of Culture at the Wrocław Stadium with the participants of the Days in Dioceses;
  • Dinner with the families;
  • 00 pm – multimedia fountain show – for interested.

 

After a breakfast with the families, the youth will gather in the parishes at 9.00 am and will receive a prepared lunch in the form of dry provisions About 9.15 am the group leaves for Ostrów Tumski i Wrocław, where the spiritual part of the day is planned. Since 9.30 the pilgrims participate in spiritual events prepared by Wrocław’s communities and religious congregations. At 12.00 pm there is planned a meeting with the Archbishop of Wrocław and a common Angelus prayer, after which the guests will set off to the appointed churches to celebrate the Eucharist in the language groups.

After the Eucharist the groups transfer to Wrocław Stadium by foot or using  means of collective transport, including trams and special buses. Since 4.00 pm the meals will be served (based on the special tokens) at the stadium zone and the youth with the families will take the seats. Serving time will last till 5.30 pm.

.At 6.00 pm a group meeting at the stadium will start, followed by the „Singing Europe” festival under the European Capital of Culture – Wrocław 2016. Three thousands of choristers from European choirs will perform popular national songs, inviting all the viewers to common rejoicing. The meeting will consist of two parts, 90 minutes each.

All the youth and parish’s families are invited to all the Saturday’s Ostrów Tumski and Wrocław Stadium events. Seats at the stadium will require tickets, so there will occur a necessity of reporting name lists of  people from the parishes willing to participate. It is also needed to take the tickets in advance. There will be no possibility for purchasing the food tokens by a parish.
After homecoming, the pilgrims eat a dinner with the hosts.
